I have been crafting and creating with paper for nearly 30 years. After a long career as a paralegal, I took a leap and started my own business, opening The Paper Forest, a scrapbook and card making store in Illinois. After several years, I sold the store and retired. But I never stopped creating!
In October of 2023, I joined Stampin’ UP! to have access to a great network of other crafters, early access to new products, and a discount on my own hobby purchases!
When my husband and I moved to East Tennessee in 2024, we made sure that our new home had a dedicated space for my crafting! After being here a while, I decided to take my Stampin’ UP! business and use it to meet new people! I now host a monthly workshop in my home and LOVE sharing creative ideas with others! (Honestly, if I didn’t find a way to get my ideas out there, I think my head would explode!)
My hope is that this blog will be a place for others to share, be inspired, and encourage others to keep finding time for creativity and JOY! Cards are a special way to show someone you care – especially in this age of texting & Facebook posts instead of a personal greeting. A handmade card to say happy birthday, congratulations, I’m sorry or just HELLO can make someone’s whole week.
